R.E. “Bobby” Gooding

R.E. “Bobby” Gooding was born in Clarksville Texas on May 22, 1944 and graduated form Clarksville High School in 1962. He graduated from Baylor University in 1966 with a major in Finance. He then enrolled in Baylor Law School and graduated in 1968. After graduating from law school, he returned to his hometown of Clarksville where he practiced law and owned and managed Gooding Title Company with his father, Robert Gooding, until his father’s passing in 1977, after which he practiced and was the sole owner of Gooding Title Company until the present time. He regularly advises landowners, realtors, and lenders in regard to the the complex issues involved in buying, selling and mortgaging real property in Red River County and other Texas Counties. Bobby has been married to his wife Janice Gooding since 1966 and has two sons, the late Kent Gooding and Alan Gooding, as well as five grandchildren. Bobby has always been involved in fitness and enjoys sports of all kinds including local high school sports and Baylor University football and basketball.
